Reflexology

Reflexology:
A gentle way of nurturing your wellbeing

WHAT CAN REFLEXOLOGY HELP WITH?
If you are lacking energy or have been injured, reflexology can help to restore balance, boost circulation and improve self-healing. It is useful for treating stress, anxiety, back pain, migraine, poor digestion, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), respiratory problems, asthma, headaches, bladder problems, menopausal symptoms and period pain.
Pain from multiple sclerosis (MS) and cancer treatments can be relieved but this should not replace conventional drugs like chemotherapy. Being able to “zone out” for an hour while enjoying a relaxing massage can have a positive psychological impact on your wellbeing too. Pregnant women find that reflexology relieves the pressure on their legs and feet
WHAT IS AN APPOINTMENT LIKE?
On your initial consultation, you may asked about your medical history, health issues, lifestyle and diet. Painless pressure is applied to your feet to identify which areas of your body aren't functioning properly. Sessions last 60 minutes (initial) or 45 minutes (follow-up) and focus on the soles of your feet, your hands and sometimes face. Five or six sessions are recommended to treat specific health conditions. You do not have to undress.
